Health and Vaccinations
Compulsory vaccinations
All dogs staying with us must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis.
Optional vaccinations
We do not insist upon vaccination against Kennel Cough.
When to vaccinate
All compulsory vaccines must be up-to-date at the time of boarding. We ask that any boosters are done at least 7 days before coming to Chalkwell.
If you do vaccinate your dog for Kennel Cough, we ask that you do so at least 7 days before their stay at Chalkwell. We will refuse a dog that has been vaccinated against Kennel Cough less than 7 days prior to their stay.
You MUST bring your pet’s up-to-date vaccination card with you for every stay. It is part of our licensing conditions that we have accurate records of all pets at Chalkwell.
Unfortunately, we will refuse your pet if you cannot provide evidence of up-to-date vaccinations.
Compulsory vaccinations
All cats must be vaccinated against Feline Parvovirus (Feline Infectious Enteritis) and feline respiratory viruses (cat ‘flu).
When to vaccinate
All compulsory (core) vaccines must be up to date at the time of boarding. It is advisable to arrange for any boosters to be done at least 14 days before coming to Chalkwell.
You MUST bring your pet’s up-to-date vaccination card with you for every stay. It is part of our licensing conditions that we have accurate records of all pets at Chalkwell.
Unfortunately, we will refuse your pet if you cannot provide evidence of up-to-date vaccinations.
